Make Hearts from Plastic Straws
Anyone at all can make cute little hearts from plastic straws. Sprinkle them in a gift box or clip them onto the edge of a letter or a card. All you need are the straws, a pair of scissors, and the know-how to pull off this creative project!
Steps
- Cut a little section (about an inch) off the straw.
- Press the section and make it flat.
- Cut it as shown in the picture.
- Add another little slit if you want to be able to clip the heart onto paper.
- Open the heart. In the picture, you can see the slit at the bottom of the heart.
- If you made the slit, clip the heart onto the edge of any paper or cardstock like you would a paper clip.
Tips
- Different size straws will yield different size hearts!
- You can also use these as bookmarks.
