Make a Berry Smoothie

  1. Pour 1 cup of orange juice into the blender. Add 1/2 cup of yogurt into the juice
  2. Toss in about 1/2 cup of the frozen berries. Save a few to top the smoothie. Try frozen berries, as it creates a thicker blend, and makes it really cold and delicious. You will almost need a spoon to eat it.
  3. Blend until the mixture is thick and creamy.
  4. Pour your smoothie into glasses and add whipped cream or a few berries and a straw.
  5. Finished.



Tips

  • Don't blend the smoothie for too long because then it will be too liquid.
  • The bag of frozen mixed berries works great and is a good blend with the yogurt.
  • You can use any flavor yogurt.
  • Adding 1/2 cup of cranberry juice and half of a banana can make this drink more "fruity" and nutritious.
  • Smoothies can be "smooth", but sometimes taste good with chunks of raspberries in them (small, must be able to fit through straw).
  • Add a 1/4 cup of milk if you want.
  • If you add banana, make sure you also use milk or water to make the smoothie less thick.
