Make Watermelon Dip Sticks

Get creative with watermelon! We have come a long way since the days of balling or slicing alone! Try cutting watermelon into fun shapes like cylinders, bricks, arcs or sticks. These new fun garnishes brighten up any plate with some healthy fun!

Steps

  1. Set a table outdoors if possible. Cut the watermelon into bite sized pieces, and place inside the watermelon basket.
  2. Blend the sour cream with the sugar and vanilla in a small serving bowl. Use as a dip for the watermelon.
  3. Cut the watermelon in sticks, or various other shapes, using your imagination. Place the sour cream dip in the center, and have your guests enjoy dipping and eating the watermelon.
  4. Watermelon popsicles make for frozen fun as a treat after lunch or as a snack after dinner.
  5. Cut up chunks of fresh fruit. Use grapes, strawberries, blueberries or bananas.
  6. Puree the watermelon. Pour it into Make Popsicle Snacks molds, and drop in your chunks of fresh fruit, and freeze!
  7. Another option would be to make Make Juice Cubes and add to your favorite juice or Make Grape Soda for a different taste.
  8. Finished.

  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Watermelon sticks or small wedges.
